Stagnitto, Ida Josephine Dellanoce
Matawan: Died Sunday, September 28, 2008 at Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Holmdel. She was 86. Born in Rochester, NY, she resided in Clifton and Pompton Lakes for 35 years and Toms River for 15 years before moving to Matawan in 2002.
She attended Pleasant Valley Day Center in Holmdel, and was a communicant of St. Clement Church, Matawan.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank D. Stagnitto, a daughter Mary, and two brothers, John Dellanoce and Richard Dellanoce.
Surviving are two sons, David and his wife Susan Stagnitto of Savannah, GA and Paul and his wife Maria Stagnitto of Silver Spring, MD; a daughter, Marianne Thouret and her husband Claude Jr. of Matawan; six grandchildren, Jason and his wife Leigh Ann, Lauren, Paul Joseph, Michael, Claude III (CJ), and Justin; and a great grandson, Connor.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10AM in the Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, followed by an 11AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Clement Church, Matawan. Private cremation will follow. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to either the Pleasant Valley Adult Day Center, a non profit organization, 678 N. Beers Street, Holmdel, NJ 07733, or to the Alzheimer's Association, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834-1365. For information, directions or to send condolences to family, visit:
