Anthony Day Obituary
Rochester: On September 30, 2008 at age 82. Survived by his wife, Carole; daughters, Leanna (Thomas) Zakariassen of Norway, Lauren Day; grandsons, Xander & Vincent Zakariassen; sister, Ella Romano; many nieces and nephews, especially his nephews, Frank (Ann) Romano, Ray DiFazio, Dom DeFazio; and many dear friends. Tony was the Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus and a long standing member with the Rochester Locust Club.
Family and friends are invited to call at Miller Funeral Homes, Inc. (3325 Winton Road South) on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Tony's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Anne Church (1600 Mt. Hope Avenue) on Friday at 9:30 AM. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends may donate to the St. Anne's Building Fund or The Knights of Columbus Council #11411 in his memory. Dearest Carole, Leanne, Lauren and families. I can't tell you how sorry I was to hear of Tony's passing. Unfortunately, I did not know until today. Uncle Tony was a great guy and he will be missed by everyone. My sincerest condolences to all of you and your family. I wish I could have been there in person for all of you. God Bless.

Dear Carol, Leanna and family, and Lauren,
Our tears and prayers are with you all at this very sad time.

Uncle Tony you will be missed more than you'll ever know. There is no one I would have rather shared my birthday with all these years than you! It gives me great peace to know that "Frick " and "Frack" are together again! I love you!!!!!

"Uncle Tony" was always a larger-than-life figure throughout my life, someone that I admired. I am so happy that my daughters Amy and Becky also got to know him, and I want Carol and the girls to know that they are in our thoughts and prayers.
