Virginia Murphy Obituary

Murphy, Virginia J.
Geneva: Virginia J. Murphy, 99, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Geneva Living Center North.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Devaney-Bennett & Simons Funeral Home, 181 N. Main St., Geneva.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beverly Animal Shelter, 50 East River Road, Waterloo, NY or Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, NY.
Virginia was born in Gorham, NY and later moved to Rochester, where she worked for Eastman Kodak Company for more than 37 years until her retirement. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Surviving her are three grandchildren: Karen (Steven) Barto of Seneca Falls, NY, Roger Murphy of Harvey, LA and Tracey Murphy of Syracuse, NY, four great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren, and dear friend Rose Miller of Rochester.
Virginia was predeceased by her son, Edward Murphy in 1999.
