Brinley Evans Obituary

Evans, Brinley
"Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay."
-- Robert Frost
Toronto: On September 9th, Brinley Evans died of breast cancer. Brinley will be immensely missed by her husband Branimir Brcic and her children Theo and Maya. Brinley was the daughter of Irene and the late Ted Evans, and the sister of Derek and Jason.
Brinley loved life. She loved to travel. She loved to read. She loved to laugh. Her strength, her generosity, and her optimism never ceased to amaze all those who knew her. Brinley was a superb lawyer and a natural advocate. She was passionate about her work. Her legal practice was distinguished by her integrity, her empathy for her clients and her keen legal mind.
Many thanks to all those who cared for Brinley during her illness: the doctors, nurses, family and friends.

Hello, I would like to say I'm truly sorry to hear about Brinley's death. I've thought about her through the years. Her family lived next door to me when we were little. She was 5 years old,I was 8 years old. I always remember having fun playing with her.I am not suprised how well she did in life.(it's nice to know ) . She had great role models to learn from.I had a little smile on my face when I saw that she lived in Toronto , because my Husband is from Toronto. Again I am sorry to hear of her passing, I'm sorry I didn't try to contact her when I grew up. Take Care and God Bless Your whole family. Kathy Newey ( Burley )
