Collins, Mary A.
Shortsville: Mary A. Collins age 90 formerly of Aldrich Street died on Sunday October 5, 2008 at the Crest Manor Nursing Home in Rochester. Mary was born on September 5, 1918 in Manchester Center, the daughter of the late Albert and Nettie Meehan Pardington. She retired from Stromberg Carlson and was a devoted Grandmother.
Mary is survived by 2 Grandsons, Jeffrey Collins of Ithaca and James (Jennifer) Collins of Fairport; great-grandson Owen; 3 brothers, Maurice (Ileen) Pardington of Spencerport, Leon (Marguerite) Pardington of California, Vernon Pardington of Shortsville; sister, Geraldine (Cyril) Antheunis of Clifton Springs; Sister in law Helen Pardington of Manchester; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Collins, son and daughter in law David (Joyce) Collins; 2 sisters, Mabel Pardington and Gladys Fox and brother Albert Pardington
There will be no prior calling hours. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Thursday October 9, at 10AM at St. Dominic's Catholic Church Main St, Shortsville. Inurnment will be in Assumption of Our Lady Church in Fairport. It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to St. Dominic's Church Main Street Shortsville, NY 14584 or Camp Good Days.
