To the Family of Beloved Mrs. Nancy Ann Shewan :

We were deeply saddened by the news of your loss . . .

Having been aquainted with Mrs. Shewan since Houghton College days and having last seen her at West Barre Church . . . she always emulated a kind & loving & caring demeanor . . . which endeared all of us to her . . .

Her Christian legacy can be seen already in her ['set-apart-for-His-GLORY'] children : Scott(Celsa); Paul(Joy); Stephen(Ruth) & Mrs. Shewan's Grandchildren . . .

. . ." Her children arise up, & call her blessed; her husband also " . . .

"Mrs. Shewan" was my my music teacher when I was a young boy at Niel Armstrong School in the Gates-Chili School district. She was my favorite teacher and she was always extra kind to me. Mrs. Shewan was my role model and she taught me patience, kindness, forgiveness and unconditional love. I will never forget her or how she helped to mold my life. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
