Dear Dotty,
I just found out today about Herb from Jim Flanagan (used to sell for Schering-- he said Herb was the first sales call he ever made). We have been real busy with my Dad in and out of hospital this last month, so I haven't been reading the paper consistently. Herb was defintely of the greatest generation both in service to his country and to his profession.
Love from both of us,
Wayne And Dee Dee

Dear Mrs. B, Ruth, Lin, and Jeannie,
I am so very sorry, my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. After working with Dr. B. for over 15 years I will always remember his gentle way with clients during their most difficult times. He would put his arm around them, give them a little squeeze, and share his wisdom. He was a wonderful and devoted man. Pamela Karpel Lamboy

My Papa loved me and cared for me and I'm going to miss him. I have so many memories from the past 12 years but I feel that it's not enough I've missed him ever since that night but I know that one day I will see him again and he will have both eyes and hair and he will see me for the first time with both eyes.

Mrs. B, Lin,Ruth,Jean and Families, We were so sad to hear about the passing of our beloved Dr. Bandemer. Having grown up with him was more than special...he was truly and inspiration for us all and a remarkable vet. I remember sleepovers at his house where you would scare us Lin (of course with my brother as well) and he would always make us feel better. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. Dr. B was a great man and we will all have many fond memories to remember him by. Mrs. B, Lin, Ruth, Jeanie: I can't say how sad this makes me. Dr. B was such a positive role model in my life. Always full of laughter, a good story, and solid life advice. He was always so generous with his time and skills and really tolerated so much when his house was full of kids who weren't his. I have so many happy memories of being at your house, of Triangle, of neighborhood and school activities. He was such a good man and will be sorely missed by so many.

To Dr B's Family and all,
We have all lost a true pioneer of veterinary medicine. Dr B always put the needs of his animal patients first and provided the best care. I often refer fondly to Dr B and appreciate all he taught me. I credit him for my love of animals having worked for him. He gave me my first job and is still one of my favorites. A man larger than life who always had the gentlest of touches. Dr B you are greatly missed and will be always loved and respected. Farewell Dr B.

There are few people in life who can be described as genuinely good and kind people. Dr. B was one of those few. In the quarter century that I have known him, he has been both an inspiration and a good friend. He will be sorely missed both by me as well as the many people who he touched in life through his goodness and human decency. All my love.
