Rita Alvarez Obituary

Alvarez, Rita Ann
Honeoye Falls: October 8, 2008, age 78, after a courageous 8-year battle with cancer.
Predeceased by her husband, Mario; loving mother of Marshell (Thom) Woodgates, Desi (Sandy) and Mario Jr. (Kelly); devoted grandmother of Cody, Jody, Shay, Jake and Jayd; sister of Joann and Connie. Her life was rich with love and support from family, friends and strangers that became new friends at the end of her life to care for her.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thurdsay, October 16th 11 A.M. at St. Paul of the Cross Church, Honeoye Falls. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Advent House, 1010 Moseley Rd., Fairport, NY 14450, in her memory.

TO RITA'S FAMILY,
WE HAD MANY WONDERFUL TIMES HERE IN FLORIDA WITH YOUR MOM. EVEN WHEN WE FIRST MET, SHE TOOK US ON A TOUR OF ST. JAMES ISLAND. THE LAST FEW TIMES WE CALLED HER, WE COULDN'T GET AHOLD OF HER AND WE WERE PRAYING FOR HER. WE THINK OF HER OFTEN. GOD BLESS.
