Florence Becker Obituary
Churchville: Saturday, October 11, 2008, at age 85. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, George W. Becker; her sons David Becker, Douglas Becker Sr., Daniel (Nancy Foote) Becker and Bruce (Lin) Becker; grandchildren, Douglas (Holly) Becker Jr., Jessica and Andrew Becker, Kathy (Chip) Rudd and Suzie Becker; 3 great-grandsons Dawson, Gage and Dean; daughter-in-law Donna Becker; sisters-in-law Helen Kraft and Virginia Wendelgass; several nieces and nephews.
Note Address: Friends may call Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home, Inc., 15 West Avenue, Spencerport, NY 14559. Funeral Mass Tuesday at 10:30 AM at St. Vincent dePaul Church, Churchville. Interment St. Vincent dePaul Cemetery. Contributions may be made to St. Vincent dePaul Church, 11 North Main St., Churchville, 14428, in her memory.

To the entire Becker family,
It's hard being down here and not up in Rochester with you. I almost wished I could postpone my trip, but knew that she would have never wanted to inconvenience anyone. We have always been there for each other in good and sad times.
I will always remember the great picnics at Aunt Florence and Uncle George's house and the dogs, Lady and Duchess.
I will also remember driving around in that old jalopy.
Aunt Florence was so much fun because she was so down to earth.
And, like Patti remarked, she had the best whistle. My thoughts are with you even if I can't be there.

I was truly blessed to have Aunt Florence as my aunt and Godmother...she was so much fun. I always wished I could whistle like she could. Her laugh was contagous and her baked beans were the best!!! We will miss her terribly, but have all of our memories to look back on. I know she had a lot of folks to welcome her to heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
