Steubing, Roy
Fairport: October 9, 2008, at age 94. Predeceased by wife, Connie. Survived by niece, Sandy (Garry) Reed; nephew, Chuck Luke; great-nieces and nephews, Shari (Ken) Matthews and Scott (Vicki) Reed; great-great-nephew, Joel Matthews; and great-great-niece, Juleen Matthews; sister-in-law, Rose Mancuso; also survived by many dear friends and neighbors. A WWII veteran, where he was a medic in Europe for 39 months. A member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the Fairport Lions Club.
Many thanks for the care he received at Perinton Park Manor during his residence there. Our heartfelt thanks to the caring staff and volunteers of the Advent House.
Calling hours, Monday, 5-7 at Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, Village location, 41 South Main St., Fairport. Funeral Service, Tuesday, 11 AM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fairport. Interment, Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to the church or the Advent House.

On behalf of the Fairport Lions Club I offer our deepest sympathy to Roy's family in this time of their loss. Roy cared about and was deeply dedicated to serving his fellow mankind as demonstrated by his many years of service as a member of the Fairport Lions Club, and his leadership in the founding the Advent House, a place that has brought peace and comfort to numerous people and their families in our community.
