Frank Scialdone Obituary

Scialdone, Frank A. Jr.
Rochester, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2008, at age 56, after a long illness with Multiple Sclerosis. Predeceased by his father, Frank A. Scialdone. He is survived by his loving mother, Alice M. (Pezzula) Scialdone; sisters, Cindy (Martin) Bourke, Madeline (Dennis) McFiggins, Jackie (Ted) Welter; nieces and nephews, Martin (Anna) Bourke, Jr., Allison (Brian) Morrison, Jeffrey (Abigail) McFiggins, Jason McFiggins, Julie McFiggins, Lindsey, Samantha, Kristin and Jessica Welter; great nieces and great nephews, Joseph, Miriam and Thomas Bourke, Amber and Bailey Morrison; aunts, uncles, many cousins and dear friends in Rochester and Albany. Frank was a resident at Monroe Community Hospital for over 25 years.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4-8PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Thursday morning, October 16, friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 9:30 in St. Theodore's Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Monroe Community Hospital, 435 E. Henrietta Rd. 14620, or to Multiple Sclerosis Society, 1650 South Ave. 14620 in his memory.

Dear Aunt Alice and Family,

I was the Kindergarten teacher at St John's Greece, and remember you well. I often wondered if you followed your dream and returned to Ireland.
