Clarence Carman Obituary
Pittsford: On October 13, 2008 at age 76. Predeceased by his sister, Elsa Wright. Survived by his wife, Ana; children, Elaine (David) Barrett, Clarence E. Carman III, Carla (Capt. Timothy) O'Grady; grandchildren, Capt. Neil E. Carman, Chad R. Carman, Leah E. Barrett; brother, Roger (DeAnna) Carman; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Clarence was a Master chess player, an accomplished artist and a graduate of an exclusive art school in NYC. He was a member of the U.S. Army National Guard 71st Infantry Regiment, Congressional candidate in 1974 and was awarded the Golden Pen and Writers Award from the Rochester D & C.
Family and friends are invited to call at Miller Funeral Homes Inc. (3325 Winton Rd. South) on Friday 4-8 PM. Clarence's Funeral Service will be celebrated in Pinnacle Lutheran Church (250 Pinnacle Rd.) on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. My Uncle was a very special man who I will miss very much. He was kind, generous, intelligent and multi-talented. He was a man of true Christian faith so I have no doubt that he is now rejoicing in heaven with my mom, (his sister) their parents and many others. He was truly one of a kind and most of all he was loved. I thank God for his life and that he is now in a place where there are no more tears.
