My dear, sweet, thoughtful and caring friend. I am not sure exactly how my life will be without you in it. You made the word friend and family have new meaning. At times you thought you were alone. You were never alone. When we got the news that you were gone, Jeff immediately told me to check the airlines. He knew I had to come to Rochester and say good-bye to you in person. You touched more people than you knew. Your graveside ceremony was a real tribute to who you were and how much you were loved. I will miss you my wonderful loving friend. Your suffering and pain is now over and you are whole again. You were so strong and made the best of what you had. We celebrated your life just like you would have wanted. Donna and Danny my heart aches for both of you. I love and miss you always. Send down more pennies to let me know you are alright. Vicky

Donna and Family,
No words can express how very sad we all are at this time, but Diane would not want that. She always lifted my spirit when we talked. She fought hard to overcome her accident and won. She will always be a champion to me. One day we will all meet again.

Donna and Danny:
It is with a heavy heart that I write to send our sincere sympathy. Diane was a special person who was loved and will be missed by all of us lucky enough to have known her. I will hold on to those precious memories of her smile and laughter that echoed through PG's when we annually compared our tans -- a contest she always won. We'll miss you Diane. Love - Tom and Judy

Well, Kiddo, I was out to dinner tonight when I heard - I stopped to say goodbye, but it was too late. I will never forget our early morning basketball practices when you would come up my back stairs on Hickory Street at 6:30 AM and pick me up on the way to school. We'd meet Rita and be on our way - seems like yesterday. To you I was always, Fran, to me you were always a breath of fresh air and a constant source of laughter and fun. They are lucky to have you up there now and we will all miss you more than you know. Bob sends his love, as well. Love,
Fran...

Diane, I sit here with my tears thinking I will never see you again, having said my goodbyes a few short hours ago and it is only now that I realize I am not saying goodbye, as I know you will be my guardian angel forever. I will truly miss you, but I will forever have your voice in my memory and your smile in my heart. I love you.

Diane, you were always so good to me, sending me pictures, cards, and wishes while I was away at college. I will always remember the first time you did this...I opened my mailbox for the first time at UB and there was a thoughtful card and pictures of my mom at PG's!! I was so surprised and happy (it was never a secret I was so homesick for the first year). Thank you for always praising me and being there for my mom. We will miss you greatly. Xoxoxox.

Diane was a great person. Everyone has something to remember her by. Mine is that Diane ALWAYS carried her camera around with her and was always taking pictures of everyone --she really enjoyed doing that. And she would always ask about my kids -- as well as our other friends kids. She will be missed.

I think that everyone in ER knew Diane; and she knew everyone back. We all have our favorite stories and I, for one, will keep her forever in my heart remembering mine. It was always fun when she lived across the street from us - my mother, sister and I loved it when she'd stop by - just to say hello and sometimes end up eating dinner with us; or she'd run in with a pizza for everyone on her way home some nights. She was always, always good for a laugh or even a good cry when we'd catch our favorite old movie on a Sunday afternoon. Now she's making them laugh up above. God bless you, my friend. I'll miss you forever.
