Ward Cleveland Obituary
Rochester/Chili: Passed unexpectedly October 15, 2008 at age 83. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ethel; son, Charles W. (Kathe) Cleveland of Bergen; step-children, Suzanne Reynolds of Seneca Falls, Richard (Gloria) Castner of Livonia, Darlene (Frederick Jr.) Holland of Piffard, Henry Castner of Livonia, Sherry (Thomas) Blaesi of Rochester; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, June C. Riley of Greece; several nieces and nephews. Ward was a World War II Army Veteran who served for 17 years.
Family and friends may attend calling hours 2-6 P.M. Sunday at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, where a Funeral Service will be held 11 A.M. Monday. Interment, Irondequoit Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Unity Health Foundation, 1555 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626. To share a memory, please visit:

To the entire family we wish to express our deepest sympathies. I personally will never forget the early morning fishing trips and the many conversations with Ward (Dad) at the kitchen table. He will be greatly missed.
