To all the special people who shared my father's life and time in North Carolina,
It is so comforting to know how cared for and appreciated my Dad was. I feel very blessed to have had such a wonderful father, and it warms my heart to know that he was thought well of by so many people. Thank you for your warm sentiments and condolences.

I have known Bill for 10 years through Boggs Paving. I am a training consultant for the Asphalt Industry and I have had the pleasure of knowing Bill and working with him. He is a very special man. He was a great leader and role model for the team that he worked with. He will be greatly missed. Bill had a fabulous personality. My heart and thoughts go out to Bill's family. I will think of Bill often and will keep his family in my prayers.

Bill was a great friend and co-worker. He was one that all of us looked up to. I meet Bill when I came to work at Boggs in 1997, I was sad when he left a few years later to work at a different Company. This past Feb. I was happy to find that Bill was returning to Boggs and we would have another chance to learn from a great leader. I enjoyed Bill more than anyone will ever know. I could ask anything of him and you could concider it done. Bill could run any kind of job and as many people as needed. He was a true Company man and did his Job well, I will always look back and remember the things my buddy taught me about the Asphalt world. He was a true leader.

To the family, I am sorry for your loss of a love one, may GOD comfort you through this time of bereavement; prayers are with you. He was a very good friend and a good contractor representative to work with, when working with the SCDOT.

Bill Donaghue was a talented individual in many ways. I remember when Bill first came to work with our company back in 1996: he learned faster than anyone else on the crew. He quickly moved up from driver/operator to foreman. One thing I specifically remember about Bill is his ability to take inexperienced men and train them into a functional and productive crew. Bill could take a band of "misfits" and make them into the best crew in the company. I think he just had the ability to lead the men and train them; they would listen to him and follow his lead. He could train the 'untrainable' and work the 'unworkable'.
I recently had the pleasure to have spent about an hour with Bill on Saturday, October 4th at the local carshow. Bill had entered one of his cars in the show and he wanted me to see it. He also informed me about his next project, the Corvette he had recently purchased from a man who lived on one of the roads Bill was paving. He told me what all he was going to do to that car, he had quite a plan to make it a real show car.
The entire Boggs Group will dearly miss Bill Donaghue. He was not only a great employee, but a great friend to us all.
