Mary Lou Miller Obituary
West Henrietta: Passed away October 19, 2008. She was predeceased by her parents, George & Louise Miller. She is survived by her brother, George R. (Christine) Miller; sister, Anne Marie Miller; niece, Michelle L. (Dr. Matthew J. Vreeland) Miller of Pinehurst, NC; nephews, George Paul (Jacquelyn) Miller & Martin J. (Shannon) Miller; grandnieces, Seana Catherman, Ashley & Kelly Miller; grandnephew, Teague Vreeland.
Mary Lou retired as Professor Emeritus of the Department of Nursing at Monroe Community College after 20 years of teaching.
Family and friends are invited to call Wednesday, 4-8 PM at Miller Funeral Homes, Inc., 3325 Winton Rd. South. Mary Lou's Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Joseph's Church, 6105 Rush-Lima Rd., Rush, NY, on Thursday at 10:30 AM. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the MCC School of Nursing Scholarship Fund or to the School of the Holy Childhood in her memory. To e-mail a message of condolence, please visit:

With great sadness we offer our heart felt condolences for the loss of Mary Lou. She exemplified the love and compassion shared by her family. Welcoming us all into her life with a heart felt smile, she will truly be missed. I'm very saddened by news of the death of a great friend I knew when I was a Catholic Chaplain at Monroe Community Hospital. I have been a Chaplain in the army for a while and something proded me today to check the D&C orbituaries. I am really saddened that death has robbed us of such an industrious and lovely person. My condolences to the family at this time of grief. May God rest her sould in eternal peace. Bye my friend Mary Lou.
