Hey Paul - What can I say besides I'm already missing you terribly. I'm so happy we spent some time together last summer. I can't believe I'll never see you again and never get one of your famous phone calls. I'll always have my memories, you were one of a kind. Until I see you again in heaven. Love, Sheryl

Uncle Paul,
Even though you were my great Uncle I love you like a father. You were so funny and always cheered me up. You could chew a ear off in the matter of seconds but thats what everyone always loved about you. Your bubbly personality. I will always be here thinking of you and I will always miss you. I cant wait to be rejoined with you as i will once again share the joy you bring. Rest in Peace Paul. I love you always and forever.

My thoughts and prayers go out to you, Cindy, and the entire family during this difficult time. The loss of the love of your life, your best friend and partner seems surreal right now. But, remember the happy times and memories you made together. You will feel sadness, but just know you have been blessed to have had such a wonderful man in your life. He was taken much too soon. Take care of yourself. Let your girls take care of you also. My heart goes out to you.
May God Bless You Always,

Charlene Strohmeyer ( Bob & Sheryl's friend)

Dad,
I don't know what else to say but that I don't understand how you could be gone and that I'll never see you again. How you're not going to see Kiley grow up or Sarah's baby grow up. How you're not going to be there when I call and you'll harrass me for 20 minutes. How you're not going to be there when I need you. I don't understand! I love you so much and will miss you every minute of every day. Rest in peace knowing that we'll take care of Mom.

My Dearest Paulie,
How will I go on without you? You left me much too soon with lost dreams and unfulfilled promises of how our life was to be together. You were the very best husband, father and friend anyone would want or ask for. You brought all of the people you came in contact with so much joy and happiness with your generosity of spirit, willingness to help anyone in need and your quirky sense of humor. I will never forget our life together - it was the best!! Thank you for being my husband, friend and my better half. Be at peace my love knowing I will always love you and wait for me on the other side. Your loving wife forever and ever Cindy.

I will miss you Paul. The greatest things in life always seem to leave us too soon. I will always have the many memories going back to the 4th grade. May you have everlasting peace.

My fondest memories from childhood are of visits to the Oakden households. Aunt Dorothy and Uncle Joe had their hands full with those boys. Aunt Dorothy would yell at them and then laugh. Uncle Joe was no help either. Paul and Wayne liked playing the fork game at the dinner table. Someone got his hand "forked". Ask Wayne about it. I loved you Paulie.

We weren't allowed to call you Uncle and Aunt because we are all so close in age. Your contageous smile and joking, are memories I will always treasure. And watching you dote on your granddaughter at our recent picnic truly speaks of what mattered most to you. We were all blessed to have you in our lives and I will remember you forever!
