Laurence Brightly Obituary
Hamlin: Called home to be with his Lord and Savior, Oct. 23, 2008 at age 84. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Bernice (Preston) Brightly; their children, Deborah (Richard) Smith, Darlene Stratton, David (Karen) Brightly, Daniel (LuAnn) Brightly, Dean (Jeanne) Brightly; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Laurence was an Army Veteran of WWII and a proud member of the VFW Post 6703 and their Honor Guard. He will be sadly missed by family and friends.
Friends are invited to call Saturday, October 25th, 1-3 PM at the Thomas E. Burger Funeral Home, 735 East Ave., Hilton and Sunday 1-2 at the Kendal United Methodist Church, 1808 Kendall Rd., Kendall where a Funeral Service will be held immediately following visitation at 2 PM. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery with military honors immediately following. Donations in Laurence's memory may be made to the Kendall United Methodist Church.
