Pittsford: Taken unexpectedly on October 24, 2008, at age 62. He is survived by his loving wife, Joan; children, Daniel (Marta) Smith and Erin Smith; parents, Craig and Honey Smith; grandson, Sebastian Smith; brothers, Stephen (Sandy) Smith, Jeffrey (Linda) Smith; sister, Deborah (Ted) Green and his beloved extended family and friends.
Friends may call Tuesday, 1-3, 5-7 PM at the funeral chapel (2305 Monroe Ave.). A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, 10 AM at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 26 Mendon-Ionia Rd., Mendon. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to American Heart Association, Gift Processing Center, PO Box 78851, Phoenix, AZ 85062-8851, www.americanheart.org or to Fisher House Foundation, 1401 Rockville Pike, Suite 600, Rockville, MD 20852, www.fisherhouse.org.
