Alice Synesael Obituary
Clifton Springs: Age 87, formerly of Spa Apartments, passed away on Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, at the Clifton Springs Hospital Nursing Home. Alice was born Jan. 10, 1921, in Manchester, NY, the daughter of the late Wasyl and Rose Ross. Alice was a member of St. Michael's in Newark until 1984, and was a member of St. Francis/St. Felix Church from 1984 until the present. She was a member of the Women's Home Bureau. She worked for Sarah Coventry Jewelry and was a loving foster grandmother. Alice enjoyed knitting, camping and cooking for her friends and family. Alice is survived by her children, William Synesael (Mary Lou Hogan), Karen (Art) Madigan, Nancy (Jim) Monteleone; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers and a sister. Alice is predeceased by her husband, Edward in 1995.
Friends may call Monday, Oct. 27th, from 2pm to 4 pm and 7pm to 9pm at the Patrick Funeral Home, 26 West Main St., Clifton Springs. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 10am Tuesday, Oct. 28th at St. Dominic's Church in Shorts-ville. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may contribute to the Clifton Springs Nursing Home Activities Fund, Clifton Springs, NY, or to St. Michael's School, Newark, NY, in Alice's memory.

i took care of alice at the nursing home i just wanted all of you to know alice was a wonderful lady. i enjoyed my time with her she will always hold a special place in my heart. with deepest sympaty
