Daniel Fitzgerald Obituary
"Danny"
Henrietta: October 25, 2008, at the age of 65. Predeceased by his father, Harlow, and a brother, Mark. Survived by his wife of 44 years, Carolyn; children and their spouses, Amy (David) Hartmann, Chris (Jessica) Fitzgerald, and Beth (Geoff Blue) Fitzgerald; his mother, Vera Fitzgerald; siblings and their spouses, Janeen Garrett-May (Milt), Barry (Joyce), David (Carrie), Kirsti Catlin (Bryan) and Scott (Jeannie); sister-in-law, Jean Fitzgerald; 5 grandchildren, Jeffery, Erich, Marissa, Reilly, and Coby; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Danny was employed with Gleason Works for 41 years. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and summers at Cape Vincent boating and fishing.
Friends are invited to call Tuesday, Oct. 28th from 4-8 PM at Miller Funeral Homes, Inc. (3325 Winton Rd. S.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, 2 PM at Good Shepherd Church, (3318 E. Henrietta Rd.). Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Melissa's Living Legacy, Teens Living with Cancer, 245 Citation Dr., Henrietta, NY 14467; or Lifespan of Greater Rochester, 1900 South Clinton Ave., Rochester, NY 14618. I am very sorry to learn of your loss. I will always remember Danny's great smile and the love he had for life. I will remember also the good times he had in Cape Vincent, especially at Snug Harbor. You are forever in my thoughts and prayers

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you all at this time of sorrow. As President of the Gleason Elder Statesman Club I try to attend all services of members. I will not be able to attend as I will be on the road on Tues. and Wed.
