Kateryna Balko Obituary
Yonkers, NY: Sunday, October 26, 2008. Pre-deceased by her husband Petro. Mrs. Balko is survived by her children Lesia (Walter) Rabarsky, Bohdan (Christine) Balko, 4 grandchildren, Matejko and Alexandra Rabarsky, Larysa and Nicholas Balko; 1 sister in Ukraine, Maria Shewchuk; several nieces and nephews and cousins. Kateryna was a member of Women's Organization for the Four Freedoms of Ukraine and Ukraine Home of Rochester.
Her family will receive friends THURSDAY 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home. Friends are invited to meet the family FRIDAY 10:00 AM for her Divine Liturgy at UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH OF EPIPHANY. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to Children of Chornobil ACT#107123 RUFCU, 824 East Ridge Road, Rochester, NY 14621. Panachyda Thursday 7:00 PM
