Elmer Fisher Obituary

Fisher, Elmer M. "Al"
Pittsford: October 28, 2008. He is survived by his wife Jeanette; sisters, Joan Kennedy of NV, Patricia Steinbaugh of CA; sister-in-laws, Rose Riedl, Martha (William) Dooley, of FL; several nieces and nephews. Al was a retired photographer from Eastman Kodak Co. He was active in the American Legion Post 899 Rayson-Miller and Pittsford Seniors.
Friends may call Friday, 4-7 PM at the funeral chapel (2305 Monroe Ave.). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 9 AM at St. Louis Church, 60 South Main St. Interment at White Haven Memorial Park. Contributions in his memory may be made to School of the Holy Childhood, 100 Groton Parkway, Rochester, NY 14623.

Oh Jeanette, I am so very sorry. Al was such a fine man and good friend to so many. I will always charish the good times and your two visits to Arizona. I remember how Al loved Canyon DeChelly and the photo opts there. The dinners out when I'd come to Rochester were always special. Please know you are in my heart and thoughts.
