Theresa Embrey Obituary
Penfield: Devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Died October 28, 2008 at age 78. Predeceased by her husband, Frank in 1976. Theresa is survived by 7 children, Julia (Christopher) Sochin, Elizabeth (Jack) Walker, Frank Embrey III, William (Peg) Embrey, Mary Ellen (Kelly) Sears, Harry and Edward Embrey; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mary Ellen (Doc) Loss and Lucille (Donald) LeFeber; brother, William (Shirley) Harvey; several nieces, nephews and many dear friends including Linda Parravano.
Friends may call at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Rd. Sunday (Today) 3-7 PM. Theresa's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 9:30 AM at St. Joseph's Church, 43 Gebhardt Rd., Penfield. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Those wishing may contribute to the Golisano Children's Hospital at Strong, 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester 14642. To light a candle of remembrance please visit:

I have heard so much about Theresa from my grandfather Paul Loss each one better than the last. He told me about how strong of a woman she was. How gentle and loving. Though i was never able to meet her, i hope that my future is just as bright as my Great Aunts was.

To Theresa's family,
Theresa and I worked at Atria together for more than 10 years. She watched my son Paul grow up and repeatedly told me how proud of him she was and what a good job I did raising him. She always had a way of making the people around her feel special and I wanted to let all of you know how special she was and is to me and all the people who had the privelege of knowing her. My thoughts are with you.

To Theresa's Family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Being a friend of Linda Parravano's I would see Theresa from time to time. Everytime I saw her it was like seeing sunshine, she would brighten my day with her great personality. She was such a wonderful person to be around. I was very sad to hear of her passing.

To Theresa's family, I have know Theresa since 1985. She helped me several times in my moves. She was kind, and I have always thought she was a special woman. Great humor and loved her family. I enjoyed "running" into her and getting caught up in where we were with our lives and family. My sympathy to all of you. We all lost someone special that touched our lives in a positive way!
