Merton Wilson Obituary
Newark: On Oct. 30, 2008, at age 95. Survived by his daughter Sheila Everdyke of Williamson; 2 grandchildren, Crystal and Darin Everdyke; great-granddaughter Jennifer, special friend Helen Fellows of Newark. Predeceased by his wife Leona in 1994.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM on Sunday (Nov. 2nd) at the Paul L. Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, 127 E. Main St., Newark. Burial in Palmyra Cemetery. Memorials in his name may be made to Kidney Foundation of Upstate NY, 15 Prince St., Rochester, NY 14607, or the American Cancer Society, 1400 Winton Rd. N., Rochester, NY 14609. Remembrances may be sent to www.murphyandsonsfuneralhome.com

I will miss Mert and our visits. He gave me many laughs and much joy. He was supported so much by his wonderful daughter Sheila who would have given him the world. He will be missed by many. God bless you Mert. Love, Betsy

We will remember Mert fondly for his sense of humor and kindness. He gave my mother many wonderful years of companionship, dancing, card playing, etc. He will be missed. From Helen Fellow's daughter and son-in-law - Donna and Ken Ferm.
