I remember Bill well from my days at John Marshall HS. I was two years younger than he was, but recall him in my Chemistry class and at wrestling practice. He was a good one, very focused on athletics and had a real personality on him - very different than the younger brother Doug. I do recall a story he told me of how he narrowly missed being City champ because of a cold he contracted just before the finals and also how he once tried to hitchhike to Florida with a team member. He definitely was a well known member of the Class of 67.

Jim, I am so sorry to hear about Bill. I was on the same wrestling team with Bill at JMHS. We became friends at that time and he was always good to everyone. As what often happens , we lost contact with each other after high scool but only good things come to mind whenever Bills name was mentioned over the years. I know he will be missed by many. He was a good man. Regards Sam Alessi
