Dear Howie and family,

My condolences for your loss. Peggy had a way of looking past her own fears and pain in order to care for the family that she loved so completely! Her spirit, like a rock, was an inspiration to me and no doubt to those who were blessed to know her. In her last months, in the midst of her illness, she showed us all how to live and indeed how to die with grace. How wondrous a blessing it is to have known her.

May God's care and consolation be with you, Howie, your children and all who loved Peggy.

Howie and family, and all the Currans,
I want to extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family. Like Joanie, I too have fond memories of our times at the farm in Naples, and Bristol. Peggy had such a bubbly, caring personality, and was always smiling! She will be missed, but not forgotten by all who knew and love her. My family is thinking of you all!
Though I haven't had the chance to see you in a long time, I still have the memories of growing up with you, and they are great memories!
Love to you all,
T Bone and family

Dear Howie, Grace, Gus, Henry, Rory and Gunther:
It has been a long time since our families have connected, but I have such fond memories of you, Howie, and of Peggy and your ever-growing brood during our visits to Bristol. Peggy exuded an air of fun, happiness, warmth and love. I remember well my Dad teasing Peggy, and her wonderful laugh in response. She expressed a genuine interest in those around her, and it made you feel special. She will truly be missed in this world. I am sorry that I cannot attend the service tomorrow, but please know that I will be thinking of you all, and will take a moment at 11:00 to reflect on you all, and particularly on Peggy. To all of the Curran Family-Liz, Craig, Muffy and Sam-I am so sad for your loss, my thoughts are with you. Peggy was a very special person. Love to you all,

I had the privilege to get to know the Jacobson Family many years ago when I babysat for Grace, Gunther and John Henry. I always knew from the first time that I met Peggy that I wanted to be just like her when I became a mother. She was amazing with her children.....so giving and loving. Being a mother was a blessing to Peggy as it is to I. I only wish that her time was not cut so short. We can all take comfort in knowing her. She will be an angel looking down apon us and may we take comfort in that. God Bless to all her family.

Peggy touched the lives of myself and my children in such a way that is beyond words. Each time we read "The Rainbow Gobblins" at bed time a conversation breaks out about Peggy and Howie. We will miss you dearly, but you will be in our thoughts and hearts forever.

To Howie & His Family and To Lizzie
and her family I would just like to say how much we liked Peggy. The last time Bob & I visited Donna & Craig we came to visit Peggy. It was a sunny day in late July, and we were amazed at how beautiful she looked and the optimism she showed in spite of her illness. She inspired us to no end and our prayers are with your entire family.

To the Jacobson Family~
Please know that my thoughts are with you. I felt an instant connection with Peggy (and Gunther) from the first time I met her back at Brocklebank's barn. My relationship was mostly through the horse world. I always looked forward to seeing Peggy at the horse events and admired her smile and enthusiasm despite what she and her family were going through. She never complained. I will always fondly remember the last time I saw her. She was sitting on her lawn mower..having a "good" day, watching others riding on (and enjoying) her property on a warm sunny day. I'm sure she is galloping on a horse's back in heaven right now. I will miss her greatly. Jean Storie

I can't even begin to express the profound impact you had on my life during the 18 months that you and your family took me in as well as all the years I've known you. The cheerful smiles, the gentle nudges (or sometimes kicks in the butt) I needed to be the best mom that I could be, your generous hugs, the constant encouragement, support and meaningful advice that I share with my own daughter and friends today... I will never forget. You were steadfast in spreading your joy and love for life. It was contageous. And I can honestly say that much of the joy and happiness that I experience today, was learned from you. I didn't see you often through the years. Even still, I miss you, Peggy. But I will always celebrate your life in my heart of hearts because I was the one blessed by God to have known you and to have learned so much of life's secrets through your saintly example. Thank you, Peggy. Love you.

Hello everyone,

I am so very thankful to have know Peggy. In the short time that I knew her she always seemed to have nothing but optimism. She had a spirit about her as if nothing had the ability to bring her down, not even knowing she was going to die. I am thankful that I was able to say goodbye to her in person the last time she visited Eli. It was something that I had never done before and a visit I will cherish.

Love to the entire family. I look forward to seeing you all again.

My prayers are with you.

Love,
Reni

Peg always refused to dwell on her struggles. Rather, she was quick to turn a conversation to inquire about others. She was strong and upbeat every time I saw her. She was and is an inspiration.
