Gertrude Miller Obituary

Miller, Gertrude Neill
Syracuse: Gertrude Neill Miller, 82, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2008, after a long illness at Rosewood Heights Health Center in Syracuse. In 1944, Gertrude graduated from East High in Rochester, New York and then in 1948, she graduated from the University of Rochester PHI BETA KAPPA. Gertrude worked for Kodak in Rochester for over ten years. A member of the Garden Club of Rochester, she was also an avid member of Hunt Hollow Ski Club. She was predeceased by her sister, Margerite Gleich in 2007; and her brothers, Robert Neill in 2007 and Kenneth Neill. Surviving is her loving husband of 49 years, Dr. Charles Irving Miller; her daughter, Cindy "Miller" (Guy) Capone of Liverpool; sister, Patricia McVea of Fairport; brothers, Jack Neill of PA and Richard Neill of Hawaii; two grandchildren, Shawna Miller and Charles Capone, both of Liverpool.
Memorial services will be held Monday, 6:00pm at Fairport Baptist Home, 4646 Nine Mile Point Rd. (Rt. 250), Fairport, NY, 14450. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Rochester, NY. Farone & Son Funeral Home is in care of arrangements.
