Elsie Proseus Obituary
Sodus Point: Entered into eternal peace on Sunday, October 26, 2008, at the age of 100. Born in Berkley Springs, West VA. Resided in North Rose and Sodus Point on the family farm. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul in 1982 and daughter, Nancy Campbell in 2006. Survived by sons, Erwin (Nancy) Proseus of Marion, Glen E. (Nancy) Proseus of Sodus Point; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and special friends.
The family wishes to thank a very caring and comforting staff, nurses and doctors at Rochester General Hospital for their personal concerns and caring.
At her request calling hours will not be observed and the courtesy of no flowers. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of her Life at St. John's Episcopal Church in Sodus on Saturday afternoon, November 15th at 3:30 P.M. A Private Family Graveside Service was held at Sodus Rural Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be directed in her memory to Christ Episcopal Church of Sodus Point in c/o St. John's Episcopal Church, 54 West Main St., Sodus, NY 14551, or Silvery Waters Ambulance Corps, P.O. Box 159 Sodus Point, NY 14555. Arr. have been entrusted to Young Funeral Home, Williamson.
