Sodus: Formerly of Clyde. Died on November 1, 2008 at age 77. Survived by his wife of 28 years Shirley Koester; children, Sherri Koester, Sheila Clingerman, Richard (Shelly) Koester, Shelly Koester, Wayne Koester, Terry (Rebecca) Koester; 10 grandchildren; 2 sisters; several nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his brother.
Friends are invited to call 5-8 Tuesday at McGuire/Hargrave & Murphy Funeral Home, 123 East Jackson St., Palmyra, where his Funeral Service will be held 10AM Wednesday, followed by his burial at Palmyra Cemetery. Donations may be made to Lipson Cancer Ctr. in his memory

I want to take this opportunity to say how sorry I am that Uncle Sonny passed away.He was a great uncle, I can think of many childhood memories that bring a smile to my face. I am so sorry I couldn't be with you Aunt Shirley and all my cousins;Sherri, Sheila,Ricky ,Shelly, Wayner, And I can't forget you Terry! I know Uncle Sonny is up in heaven right now with dad causing some kind of trouble :) Please know you are ALL in my daily prayer!! Please e-mail me I'd love to hear from you!!

I worked with Will shift work at Xerox a number or Years ago now. Will would always help me (I was just hired at that time) when asked. I remember Will being a strong personality who would always tell it like he saw it, something I learned to appreciate about him. A man who came straight at me, no curves, no hidden ajenda, I respected that. I am sorry for your loss.
