Dear Dad,

First off Giants 11-1 off to another superbowl. Is that God's doing?
It has been only a month but seems a lifetime since you have gone. This is kind of our way of saying to you we still love you and have not forgotten about you. Your grandchildren still ask about you and kepp telling me they will always love you. Understand we are all doing O.K., You will be missed for the holidays but not forgotten. I go to church and light a candle everyweek for you, I believe if I get closer to God I will remain close to you.
God Bless you and Merry Christmas!

Love Always
Philip

Dear Dad,

Not that you can read these entries but I guess it just makes us feel better to be able to say to you what we should have said before, that we love you. I also want to let you know that we will be okay. We'll have our sad times but we will also reflect on the happy times and the good memories we all have had. We will not dwell in our sorrow, we will continue to build our own happy memories and we will share them with you when we are all together again.

Hey, could you do me a favor, say hello to John Lennon and George Harrison for me?? :o)

Lucille Privitera

December 3, 2008

Sam, I know we will be together again so I'll say good-bye here for now. Please know that I loved you then, I love you now, and I'll love you even more when we are re-united. Keep me, our children, grandchildren, our sisters and brother-in-laws and all our family and friends always in your prayers, as we do you. Remember our daily prayer - 'Dear Lord, Sweet Jesus, Blessed Mother Mary, Bless our Family and Friends and their Families and Friends with Health, Wholeness, Life and Love'.

Love ALways and Ever, Lucia

Sam, it's a month ago this date that we said goodbye and had to let you go. While I'm very sad for me, I'm very glad that you are finally at peace. Just as you lit candles every week in church for those in need for one reason or another, I light a candle for you every night to remind me of your kindness. I'll miss our Christmas Eves, going out to dinner, just us two, and coming home and relaxing. I'll miss you at Barbra's for Christmas dinner too, and many more occasions that I use to spend with you. Give my love to our Moms and Dads and your Brother George and our friend Louie. Tell them all they are still very missed too. It's time to say good-bye here, the site is running out, so pray for me and our family and we will pray with you. Merry Christmas and Happy new Year too, watch over me and know that I will join you soon.

Love Always and Ever, Lucia

When two people have shared life, when they are really, really in it together, there is a quiet certainty in the way they take care of each other. A gentle touch or a loving word right when it's needed--every little thing seems to say, I'M SURE OF YOU, I'M SURE OF US, of what we had together. And I'm very grateful to be in this life and in this love with you. I miss you so much. You did so many little things for me that I'm reminded of each and every day. I miss taking care of you too, but please know I am taking care of Fredo and your fish. I know they miss you very much too. Please rest in peace knowing that you have 3 wonderful children who are always here for me when I need them. Love Always, Lucia

My Dear Friend and Family,
There are no words to take the hurt and anguish away. Just know that Sam has gone back home to his Father. Without absolutely no pain. As he looks down from above ,he is smiling at each and everyone knowing that he had such a wonderful family that loved him soo much, that the tears that fall from your eyes are tears of fantastic memories, that he leaves with each and everyone of you. Do not cry tears of sadness, but the celebration of life you had with him.
With Deepest Sympathy
