Ida Petralia Obituary

Petralia, Ida R. (Bertola)
Rochester: On September 8, 2007, at age 75. Peacefully at home with her loving family around her. Survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Ross S. Petralia; sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph (Kathy) Petralia and Joe (Patricia) Petralia; grandsons, Jason, Rick, Joe and Ryan Petralia; sister and brother-in-law, Rosemary (Peter) D'Ramo; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; Josephine (Al) DeFeo, Lil (Raoul) Subrani, Sam (Shirley) Petralia, Victoria Bertola, Tessie Bertola; cousin Ida (Joseph) Abbate of CA; special dear friend, Kay (Nick) DePede; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A special thank you to Lifetime Care Hospice of the Monroe and Wayne County Offices for their support and loving care.
Friends may call TUESDAY ONLY from 6-9 PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Rd. (Gates). On Wednesday all are asked to meet the family at St. Helen Church (310 Hinchey Rd.) at 9:30 AM for her Funeral Liturgy. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be directed to the Alzheimer's Assoc., 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620, in Ida's memory.

To a great woman. She was like a mother to me. She will always have a special place in my heart. Our long talks that we had especially at times that were tough kept me strong. I will always remember who generousity and the love she had in her heart. Ida(MOM)you will be missed.
