Robert Pettis Obituary
Greece: Bob passed away on September 19, 2007 in his 89th year. He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Marjorie "Betti" in 2004. He was also predeceased by his brothers, Raymond, Francis, Kenneth and Lawrence; and sister, Marilyn. He is survived by his daughter, Susan (Thomas) Whatford; grandson, Kristoffer Piper; and Kristoffer's fiance, Julie Finer of Denver, CO; brother, Gerald; and sister-in-law, Erma Pettis; many nieces and nephews. Bob served 7 years on submarine duty in the Navy during WWII. He was a member of the Niagara Grenadier Chapter of Submarine Veterans of WWII. He was an avid golfer and a 42 year retiree of Eastman Kodak Company, where he worked in the Utility Division.
A special thank you to the staff of Crimson Ridge and Edna Tina Wilson Living Center for their compassionate care.
Friends may call Monday 6:30-8:00 PM at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Road (between English & Latta Road). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Animal Service League or a charity of your choice.
