George Bauman Obituary

Bauman, George E.
Irondequoit: Died September 17, 2007, at age 93. Predeceased by his wife, Louise (Burnham) Bauman. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert & Marie Bauman; granddaughters, Donna (William) Lewis of MA, Kimberly A. Bauman of Rochester and Catherine L. Bauman of FL; 3 great-grandchildren, Nicole, Meghan and William Lewis of MA; sister, Mary Ann Allaway; sister-in-law, Edna Bauman; many nieces and nephews. He was a retiree of the Eastman Kodak Company, a security volunteer for many years at the Rochester L.P.G.A., a longtime competition swimmer with the Niagara District of the US Masters Swimming Association, receiving numerous swimming awards and was a past longtime volunteer member of the St. Paul Blvd. Fire Department.
Friends may call Sunday, 3-7 at Schauman-Sulewski Funeral Home (sharing facilities with the Dierna Funeral Home) at 2309 Culver Road (near Norton Street), where his Service will be held Monday, 11:30 AM. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy may be sent in his memory to the Rochester Presbyterian Home, 256 Thurston Road, Rochester, NY 14619, or a charity of your choice.

George was a great LPGA volunteer. Helped us in the Tournament Office with mailings and uniform packaging for years. Alway energetic. My best to the family.
