Hershey, Robert Lincoln
Ocala Palms, FL: Age 77; October 17, 1929 - September 27, 2007. Surrounded by his caring daughters, Lynda (Eric) Spalding, Knoxville, Tina (Joe) Katsarsky, Syracuse and Karen (Jorge) Morrell, Tampa, Bob joined his loving wife of 50 years, Jane Siebert Hershey. He is survived by his brothers, Ken (Su) Hershey, Penfield, Alan (Sue Fabrizi) Hershey, Victor, sister-in-law, Betty Libera, Florida, brother-in-law, Bob (Leslie) Karpp, Massachusetts, six nieces, nine nephews, six grandchildren, Rob, Julie, Kristen, Alex, Lindsey, Ben.
Originally from Brighton, NY, son of the late Donald and Gladys Hershey, Bob was a Harley School graduate and attended Syracuse University. Bob and Jane made Penfield, NY their home for 40 years, retiring in Ocala Palms, FL., for the past 10 years with time enjoyed at Conesus Lake. A sales engineer for 40 years, he worked for Knight Paving Co., Koppers Co., Western Bituminous Products and Valley Sand & Gravel. Bob was Sergeant First Class, US Army. He was also active Boy Scout leader, loyal member of: American Legion, Old Guard, Masonic Lodge, Rochester Engineering Society, Brighton Presbyterian Church and Republican Committees of Penfield, Marion County and Ocala Palms. He served as Penfield Bailiff. "Country Bob" will long be remembered for his wit and wisdom, country music passion, love of golf and fascination with collections.
Services held at Browncroft Community Church, 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 6. Contributions may be made to The American Legion, or Boy Scouts of America. Arrangements: Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home.

May he rest in peace. God Bless the Veterans.
My name is SFC Danny Paul, Area Coordinator for the Florida Army National Guard Military Funeral Honors Program. I am on active duty orders and serve in the Central Florida area to render honors to our Veterans.
