Helen Dresko Obituary
Rochester: Passed away, October 12, 2007, at age 82. She is survived by her children, Steve Surgeon, Mary Ann Flansburg, Rev. John (Elizabeth) Dresko & Paula Fletcher; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Pete Ridosh and many friends. Helen was a founding member and long-time Parishioner of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church.
Friends are invited to call Sunday, 4-7 PM at St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, 855 S. Goodman St. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday at 6:30 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 10 AM. Interment White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, 185 Benton St., Rochester, NY 14620. To leave a message of condolence please light a candle at:

Aunt Helen ( Great Aunt) was my Grandmother ( Anne's) sister. I have many fond memories of Holiday's with my grandmother and Aunt Helen , a trip to PA, with the two grand daughters (me and Tania). Though we had not been in touch for several years, I will miss her and my thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I am the grand daughter of John and LaVerne Ridosh and daughter of Mark S. Ridosh, I believe Helen was my great aunt. May she rest in peace. My thougts and prayers are with you all.

Steve, Maryann, John, Sonya and the rest of Helen's family. We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved mother and grandmother Tony felt Helen was a second mother to him. He is very upset that he cannnot be there at this time. He is in the Virgin Islands for three months working for the Red Cross. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Tony and Elaine Muscolino
