Jane: I just heard yesterday (11/1) about your Mother's passing and want to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. It sounds like your family was all very close and I am sure it must be difficult for you. I will continue to pray for your Mother and the rest of your family and hope that you all stay strong and rely on one another in this tough time.

To Marys Family
I will always remember Mary. When we were in nursing Mary used to invite me home with her sometimes, as I lived far away. She was good-natured . I will remember her in my prayers.

To
Mary's Family,
Please accept my sympathy on the death of your loving mother.
Although I did not know her personally, I heard many wonderful stories
of her work and managment at RGH. My sister, Mary Ann Luffman, who is
now also deceased, told many memorable stories of work and Mary
Sassone. I could not help but recognise her name as I read it with
sadness. May you find comfort in her wonderful memories.

Jane, Michael, & Nancy,
Please accept my prayers and sympathy on the passing of your mother. As my sisters do, I remember her kindness when we were children as well as when our father passed nearly 30 years ago. I pray you'll be able to lean on one another as you travel this difficult path.

To the family of Mary Sassone:

I am sorry to hear of Mary's passing.

I worked at Rochester General Hospital for over twenty years. It was my good fortune to have known her. I worked in Admissions; and I cannot adequately express how loved she was by her patients and their families. Mary was the only nurse who, when she managed a unit was so respected for her care and fairness, that many requested to be placed on her floor whenever they were admitted, always saying she was the best.

Indeed she was respected by all of us who were privileged to work with her.

She truly will be missed by many more than you can know.

May wonderful memories sustain you.

I was a classmate of Mary's in nursing. Have fond memories of that time. We had great parties with Mary and Dan. I now live in Columbus Ohio. I will keep you all in my prayers. Fondly, Barbara Maloney Brasser

Jane, Michael and Nancy:
I am so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. She was a wonderful woman and I have many fond memories of her throughout my childhood - most especially when my own Dad passed. She and your Dad were very kind to me and my sisters.
Much love,
Marsha Sassone (Etter)
