Sabrina Joy Obituary
Webster: Tuesday, October 16, 2007. Suddenly at the age of 21. She is survived by her loving family: mother, Lisa Smithe (Chuck Shumway); father, Timothy Joy; brother, Damien Joy; grandparents, Linnea and Dewey Hammond; uncles, Jeffrey (Denise) DeVuyst and Bryan DeVuyst; aunt, Beverly Joy; cousins, Michael, Melanie and Adrian DeVuyst, Melissa and Michael Callaghan; half-sister, Christine Joy; her furry friends, Hunter and Carter; and many, many dear friends.
Her family will receive friends on THURSDAY 4-8PM at the funeral home where her Funeral Service will be held on FRIDAY at 10AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society or a favorite charity in Sabrina's memory.

I remember the day I met Sabrina. Walking in the lunch room as her and her friend Amanda giggled at the table. She introduced me to her brother Damien that year and just like that we all became so close. We were family. For years we all shared laughs and knew each other inside out. She was an amazing person and will never be forgotten. Always in my heart. Love you Sabrina

Sabrina, I have one especially fond memory of you on Christmas Eve at my mother's house. You were about three years old and such a beautiful little girl with your bright smile, long curly hair and sweet, little voice. You looked so adorable in your new, red, Christmas dress. All you wanted to do was have your hair brushed and styled like a big girl which of course I did for you. Who could resist that charm. We had a lot of fun playing and taking photos of you that evening. The Nelson Christmas Eve tradition was always so special and you made that one extra special for me.
