Hardey, Maureen "Mo Sullivan"
Palm Bay, FL: Maureen Hardey, 60; born in Rochester, New York, on February 16, 1947, died with her family by her side on Monday, October 15, 2007, in Melbourne, FL. Maureen was survived by her husband Jerry Hardey of 44 years. She also leaves behind her mother, Eileen O'Brien; two daughters, Christine M. Himes (Dave), and Jill L. Ramirez (Phillip); grandchildren, Riley Himes, Daniel and Andrew Ramirez; brother, John C. Sullivan; brother-in-law, Harold Solomon; sister-in-law, Theresa Solomon-Osborn, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother, Patrick Sullivan.
Maureen attended West High before moving to W. Palm Beach. Returning to Roch. she was employed by Kodak and Rochester Products Div. of G.M. A member of UAW Local 1097, retiring in 1980. She also belonged to the Our Mother of Sorrows Rosary Society. Maureen lived with her family in Greece for 27 years before moving to Palm Bay in 2001, Maureen enjoyed her days tending to her gardens and going along the shore.
Services will be held Saturday, October 20th at 5:00 PM at Palm Bay Funeral Home, 950 Malabar Road, Palm Bay, FL 32907 www.affuneral.com
