Dorothy Schutt Obituary

Schutt, Dorothy "Dot" M. (Magee)
Rochester: October 18, 2007. Peacefully at Serenity House surrounded by family. Predeceased by husband George, brother George, and granddaughter Nicole. Survived by children Bonnie (Mike) Luebbert, Roger (Kathy) Schutt, Rick Schutt and companion Debbie Rivers, grandchildren Amy (Michael) Stringer, Jill / Todd (Cindy) Scheltz, Christopher / Allison Luebbert, Rich / Luke / Cory / Lindsay Schutt and their mother Patty, step grandchildren Dena Franceschina, Andrea Lannon, Mike Luebbert, and Jennifer Faulisi, great grandchildren Adam / Jessica Stringer, Cameron / Brennan Franceschina, brother Larry Magee, and several nieces and nephews. Dot had many special friends from Riveredge Manor, the Body Shop, and the South Wedge. She loved summers and walking in York Beach, Maine, her extra special touches on every holiday with family, and doting over her grandchildren in such a special, loving and caring way. Her amazing memory insured that 100's of birthday cards were sent each year to everyone that she knew.
Family and friends are invited to call Sunday 1-4 & 6-8 PM at Miller Funeral homes (3325 Winton Rd. S). Dot's funeral service will be celebrated Monday, 10 AM at the Interfaith Chapel of the Funeral Home with interment at Riverside Cemetery. It was my pleasure to get to know Dot, first as her exercise instructor at RiverEdge, and then as a friend - I loved her spirit, her energy, her devotion to her friends and family, and I'm grateful for the time I had with her. A great lady...
(and whenever I think about her, I'll always remember her little socks!)
