Dad,
It has been very hard for me. I just didn't understand. We had just talked about death and the fact that no one is promised tomorrow, just a couple of days before. You seemed fine and in an instant you were gone. I just can't explain the pain I feel. I am trying, but dad!"what we talked about," It happened to me. I have asked God everyday how can that be.
I Love you, I love you so, it is just so hard to let you go.
I know time and the love of god will see me through, knowing this is such the strong love I have for you!
I know you are in a better place, I just cant wait until the time I see your smiling face.
Love always and forever,
Shantel

To the girls Shan, Tasha, and Monica you ladies continue to be strong for one another you truly had a wonderful father. Not many people can say the wonderful things about their father that you can say about yours as a father and a grandfather that I witnessed with my own eyes. I only knew "Pops" for a short time that's what I called him because I could never remember his name, but he was a very pleasant person. My prayers are with you all at this time.

To the world greatest father,
It's hard to imagine that your not here with us. Coming over for dinner, going to football games & practices, taking your grandkids where ever they wanted, being the one to fix our cars because we couldn't.
Dad, I know that you are in a better place. I wish that you could be here with us. I know that you love me and I know that you know that I loved you!
I love you!!!
Your baby girl,
