Dale Gibson Obituary

Gibson, Dale Franklin
S. Chatham, MA: Died on September 30, 2007. He is the husband of 60 years to Martha (Brown) Gibson. Dale was born in Rochester, NY, graduated from St. Lawrence University and the University of Pennsylvania with a MA. He was an Army veteran stationed in Camp Detrick, Frederick, MD. He was employed by Rochester Institute of Technology College of Business where he was a professor of Marketing and Assistant Dean. He was a member of the American Marketing Assoc., active member of the Irondequoit Congregational Church in Rochester. Retired to Chatham in 1987. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Peter and wife Maureen Gibson of Wash. D.C., Susan (Ronald) Johnson of Doylestown, PA, David (Donna) of E. Lyme, CT, Carolyn (Arnie) Cary of Cheshire, CT; grandchildren, Emily Smith, Andrew, Scott and Kacey Johnson, Christopher, Colin and Patrick Gibson.
A Memorial Service will be held in the First Congregational Church Main, St. Chatham, MA, on Sat., Oct. 13 at 2 PM.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Chatham Ecumenical Council for the Homeless, P.O. Box, 81 West Chatham, MA 02669, or The Eldredge Public Library, Main St., Chatham, MA 02633. Arrangements by Nickerson Funeral Home, Chatham, MA 508-945-1166.
