Howard Smith Obituary
Batavia/Brockport: On Friday, October 19, 2007. He is survived by his wife, Rose; son, Martin (Shirl); his stepsons, Leonard (Betty) and Peter (Susan) Balonik; several grand and great-grandchildren.
No prior calling. Funeral and Interment will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make contributions to the Brockport United Methodist Church.

Words come hard to describe the loss we feel today. John as we know him was more than an uncle to Ed, Liz,& Mary. John was a very strong presence in their lives and later to become so in my life after marrying Ed. Our thoughts, love and prayers are with Rose, Skip and families.

Howard 'Spinner" Smith gave me an opportunity to have a job and the opportunity to better myself and allow me to support my dear wife & children. I can't ever thank him enough.
