I was blessed to know Irene and to be able to call her a friend....I didn't get to go see her in 3 months now,but she was in my thoughts and prayers everyday.... Me, being only 26, I never thought we'd have much in common with such an age difference, but I loved every moment I got to share with her... I worked at the Landing, and she was one of the reasons I enjoyed going to work everyday. She was the one I went to for a quick conversation, a good laugh, or some very good advice..... I will miss her very much, and my heart goes out to her family and friends. She was a wonderful woman, and I am glad I got to know her.

I am so very sorry to learn of Aunt Irene's passing. She was my last aunt and provided me with invaluable information on our family's history. Godspeed, Aunt Irene.
