Karen Lippa Obituary

Lippa, Karen E. (Hobbs)
Irondequoit, NY: October 10/22/2007. Karen was a loyal and devoted Jehovah's Witness. McGrath who became a special friend along with her daughters Carly and Macy), daughter Laura C. Piccone (Matthew) and grandson Angelo. She was a beautiful, thoughtful and caring wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to many.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 4th, 3:00PM at the Jehovah's Witnesses' Kingdom Hall located on 500 S. Kings Hwy. in Irondequoit.

Donations in Karen's name are welcome and can be made to Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania, 25 Columbia Heights, Brooklyn, NY 11201-2483 or the Sunset House (Hospice) at 3746 St. Paul Blvd, Rochester, NY 14617 in Irondequoit where, in her remaining days, she found a home away from home. Mom, we love you and will always miss you deeply. The loss is a void we can never replace. We wait to see you in the resurrection once again.

Nick and the family.
I'm sorry for your loss. She was always great whenever I saw her. She was like a second mother to me when I was growing up hanging out with her son Michael. (Fish) If there is anything I can do, please let me know. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Nick,
I have been your and Karen's neighbor for the past 5 years and care for you both dearly. To not have Karen smiling in the our neighborhood is a great loss. I loved her charm and warm glow.

Karen and I shared 32 years of friendship, treasured memories, long conversations filled with laughter, tears, joy and sadness. I will miss her dearly. I am grateful to Jehovah for the hope of the resurrection and the time when we will be reunited once again, never to be separated by the last enemy death.

Nicky, Michael and Laura and grandson Angelo my heart goes out to you in your time of loss. Karen was a dear dear person.
