Alice Ullrich Obituary
Columbus, OH: Alice Louise (Zimmerman) Ullrich, 87, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2007 peacefully at her home. Alice was born in Rochester, NY on August 6, 1920.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Osmar; daughters, Karen English (William Smith), Susan Salling, Barbara Ullrich and MaryEllen (David) Hett, and grandchildren Emily English, Pamela Salling, and Michael Salling. She was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Robert Zimmerman, Jane Z. Taylor, Albert Zimmerman, Jack Zimmerman and Barbara Zimmerman. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 30 at 11:00 am in Columbus, Ohio. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio.

Ozzie, Karen, Susan, Barbara, Mary Ellen,and grandchildren,
Please know that our prayers are with you during this difficult time. I remember fondly playing at your home when I was a young child. Savor your good memories and let the rest go. Deaths are always difficult and complex. Ask God to help you through the days ahead. Love always includes lots of forgiveness of yourself and others. Call on me if I can be of help. I miss those childhood days when your family and ours were part of the fabric of a nice community. Ozzie, I remember when you came to the hospital to visit me when I had the accident and surgery for my eye. I was 5 years old; it was 1952. You brought a small record player and some 45 type records to play. It was beautiful. I remember when you helped me with my tree badge (and others) for Girl Scouts. Thank you so much, so much for loving me, as I love you still.

My heartfelt condolences to Ossie and the family. Alice was a dear and wonderful mother-in-law for 18 years.
Some wonderful memories are the result of all those years. My regrets that I could not be there personally.
