Spencerport: Peacefully, Saturday, October 27, 2007, at age 89, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his loving wife of 68 years Margaret (Crosson) Wilson; brothers Harold and John Wilson; granddaughter Kelly Wilson; sons-in-law Harry Trott and Robert M. Waters. Survived by son William R. Wilson Jr. of FL; daughters Wende Trott of FL, Gail (Fred) Boyd Jr. of CA, Sandra Waters; daughter-in-law Sheila Wilson of FL; sister Grace Flugel; brother Gordon Wilson; sister-in-law Marjorie Wilson; grandchildren Debra (Robert) Bowles Jr, Shelley (Jonathan) Miele, Lori (Ross) Russo, Vicki (Toby) Klein of FL, Richard (Marlene) Kowalski, Kathy Lyman, Linda (Darren) Mowell of CA, Wende Tucker, Kimberly (Carl) Mastrella, Karrie (Robert) Lauro, William R. (Ali) Wilson III of FL; great-grandchildren Emily Kowalski, Matthew (Christina), Christopher and Jacob Bowles, Robert and Kellie Tucker, Brian Bresnock, Karrie Mastrella, Madison Miele, Nicholas and Anthony Russo, Johnny and Brandon Saraka, Erin, Kristi and Brian Klein, Addison and Cameryn Lauro, Cassidy and Lainey Wilson; great-great-grandchildren, Austin, Ashlie and Andrew Bowles; 2 special angels Toni Boyd and Paula Walker; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Bill retired in 1980 from RG&E after 44 years of service. Bill was the patriarch, mentor and rock of his family and enjoyed every moment with his "kids". His family takes comfort knowing he is now with the love of his life.
Friends may call Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Walker Brothers Co. Funeral Home, Inc., 15 West Avenue, Spencer-port where Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Interment Fairfield Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Spencerport Volunteer Fire Department or to a charity of your choice in his memory:
