Ernesto Avila Obituary
Gates: Sunday, October 28, 2007, at age 85. Predeceased by his son, Ernesto S. He is survived by his wife, Miriam (Latour); daughters, Zenia (Ronald) Ross, Sarah (Eric Weidel) Avila, Leslie (Robert) Schmidt and Jennifer Avila; daughter-in-law, Lina (Carmen) DiMora; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Minerva Ysusi and Miriam (Juan) Sanchez; brothers, Enildo (Maria) Avila and Efrain (Juana) Avila; several nieces, nephews and friends. Ernesto was the founder of the Cuban Liceo of Rochester.
Family and friends may call Tuesday, 4-8 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Private service and interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

I am sorry i never got to say goodbye. I regret not coming to see you when you needed your family the most. Thank you for everything you have done for me, the birthday and Chrismas cards and just being there to see us grow up. We miss you.
