I have so many great memories of David. The best are from our spending time together on Failing Shores with friends around the campfire telling stories, playing cards, fishing, waterskiing and just spending time talking. Living at the cottage next door to the Brownyard's and seeing David sitting on the deck was always a welcome invitation to go over and talk, sometimes for a minute, somtimes for hours, but always a good time. My favorite quote: "Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver, the other gold." David was definitely Gold. My sincerest sympathies to the entire Brownyard family.

I have so many great memories growing up with David as a friend. Most of them from our time spent with friends, as we owned the roads and waters around Chaumont Bay. My thoughts are with all of the Brownyard family, with my deepest sympathy.

David loved his family and friends and often put their needs before his own. He was the type of man that could not sleep if he knew someone he cared about was not doing well. He will be greatly missed.
