Herman Hagerdorn Obituary

Hagerdorn, Herman H.
Pittsford, NY: Born on July 16, 1920 in Mount Olive, IL, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2007. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hagerdorn, and brother, Lee Hagerdorn of Peoria, IL. He is survived by his sister, Patricia Millburg (Jim) of Raymond, IL; brother, Robert Hagerdorn (Emily), of Columbus, OH; also by his daughters, Judi Watson (Pete) of Mount Kisco, NY; Jane Pavone (Don) of Forestville, CA; son, Ed Hagerdorn (Sherry) of Columbus, OH, and grandchildren, a great-grandson & nephews.
Mr. Hagerdorn was a pilot with the US Navy during WWII and was stationed in the Philippines. He achieved the rank of Commander during his tenure in the Navy. He operated Hagerdorn Studio in Litchfield, IL and through his love for photography began a 30 year career at Kodak starting in Cleveland, OH and then transferring to the Rochester office. He was a long time resident of Pittsford.
Mr. Hagerdorn will be dearly missed by his family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, Nov. 2, 2007 at White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford, NY.

We are so sorry for your loss. Mr. Hagerdorn and his wife were customers at Ev Lewis Ford in Honeoye Falls for many years. They were always so pleasant and friendly that we always looked forward to their visits.
